Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to every order placed on myphonecard.co.uk. Please read them before you order. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Who we are
MyPhoneCard is a trading name of JDF Tech Limited (company number 08280019, registered in England and Wales), 396 Barking Road, London, E13 8HJ. You can contact us at info@myphonecard.co.uk or on 020 8099 1345.
What we sell
- Digital products: UK top-up voucher codes, direct top-ups and bundle activations applied to a UK mobile number, international mobile top-ups, eSIMs (sent as a QR code by email), calling card PINs, phone unlock codes and phone checks.
- Physical products: SIM cards (single, preloaded, EU roaming, data and bulk packs), phones and accessories, posted to the UK and to many other countries.
Our shop is for adults aged 18 and over.
Placing an order
When you place an order you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. A contract is formed when we start processing your order after your payment has reached our account. We may refuse or cancel an order, with a full refund of anything you have paid, if a product is out of stock or unavailable from our supplier, the price is clearly wrong, or we cannot complete our checks.
You are responsible for giving us the correct details: the mobile number and country for a top-up, the UK mobile number for a direct top-up or bundle, the IMEI number, model and network for an unlock code, your email address for digital products and eSIMs, and your full delivery address for physical products. Please check them before you order. If a top-up or bundle is sent to a wrong number that you gave us, the network cannot reverse it and we cannot refund it. If you give us another person’s details, you confirm you are allowed to do so.
Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). The price shown at checkout is the total you pay, including any delivery charge. We take payment by UK bank transfer only. Our bank details are shown on the order confirmation page and in your confirmation email. Please use your order number as the payment reference so that we can match your payment.
If we do not receive your payment within 7 days, we may cancel the order. If a payment is recalled, reversed or reported as unauthorised after we have delivered your order, the amount is still owed to us and we may take steps to recover it.
Processing and delivery
We process orders once your payment has reached our account. Digital codes, PINs and eSIM QR codes are sent to the email address on your order, and top-ups and bundles are applied to the number you gave us. Bank transfers can take longer to arrive with some banks, and some orders need extra checks, so we do not promise a fixed delivery time. See our delivery information for details.
Physical items are posted by Royal Mail or DHL. You choose the service at checkout. Once an item has been delivered to the address you gave us, it is your responsibility. For deliveries outside the UK, any import duty, tax or customs charge in the destination country is payable by the recipient, and customs checks can add time to delivery.
Network services and offers
Top-ups, bundles, SIM cards and eSIMs are used on the mobile network’s service, under that network’s own terms. Networks set and can change their bundles, offers (such as Tesco Mobile Triple Credit), coverage, validity periods and the rules for keeping a number active. We are not responsible for changes a network makes, for its coverage or service, or for how it handles your account. Your phone must be unlocked and compatible with the network, and with eSIM for eSIM products.
Security checks
To protect our customers from fraud, we check orders before we process them. Occasionally we may ask for proof of identity or address before we process an order. We use this only to verify the order and keep it securely, as described in our privacy policy. We may report suspected fraud to our bank and the police.
Cancellations and refunds
Digital products. At checkout you ask us to process your order as soon as possible and agree that you lose your right to cancel once the code, PIN, eSIM QR code, top-up or bundle has been delivered. Until then you can cancel and we will refund you in full. If a code we supplied is invalid or has already been used, contact us and we will replace it or refund you.
Unlock codes. If we cannot supply a code for your phone, we refund you in full. We cannot refund a code that does not work because the IMEI, model or network you gave us was wrong, or because the phone was blocked or locked by a counter after too many attempts.
Physical products. You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your item. Return it unused and in its original packaging within 14 days of telling us, and we will refund the price and standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving it. You pay the cost of returning it. A SIM card that has been activated by you, used, or had its credit or bundle used cannot be returned unless it is faulty. If an item is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Business customers. If you buy for a business, for example bulk SIM packs for resale, the 14-day cancellation right above does not apply, because it is a consumer right. We will still replace or refund items that are faulty or not as described.
Full details are on our refunds and cancellations page.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by wrong details given to us, for delays or failures caused by events outside our control (such as a network, supplier, bank or postal outage, customs delays or severe weather), or, if you buy for a business, for loss of profit, business or opportunity. If you buy for a business, our total liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Complaints and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.
