Description
If someone you care about in Mexico runs low on saldo, you can add pesos to their prepaid phone from here in the UK. Pick their network, choose an amount and pay in pounds by bank transfer. The credit lands on their Mexican number, and they do not have to register or download anything.
Pesos and prices by network
We carry Telcel, AT&T, Movistar, Unefon and Bait. Prices are set per network, so check the list for the one you need:

Getting the details right
- Network first. Mexican numbers can be moved between operators, so ask which network the number uses today rather than the one it started on.
- Country code included. Type the whole number starting with +52. If a digit is wrong, the credit goes to someone else and the network cannot pull it back.
- Prepaid lines only. A plan billed monthly (a contract line) cannot take these top-ups.

Questions
Can I top up a Telcel number and a Movistar number in one order?
Yes. Add each one to your basket separately with its own network and number, then pay for the whole basket in one transfer.
Will my relative know the credit has arrived?
Most Mexican networks send a text when saldo is added. We also email you once the top-up has gone through, so you can let them know.
