If you or someone you know has a Spanish prepaid (prepago) number on any of these, you can add euro credit to it from the UK and pay in pounds by bank transfer.

Find your network first

Several of these brands share the same masts, so the signal name on the phone is not always the brand. Check the SIM card, the brand’s app or a recent text, and choose the brand the number is billed by today. Numbers in Spain are often ported, so the original brand may no longer be right.

Every brand starts at 5 EUR. The top amount varies, from 15 EUR on some brands up to 50 EUR on Movistar, MásMóvil and Simyo. Prices differ between brands.

Entering the number

Type the number with +34 in front. Spanish mobiles have no extra 0 to remove. Credit sent to a wrong number cannot be reversed, so please check it. Contract numbers cannot receive top-ups.

Can I buy a bundle (bono) instead of credit?
