Check your phone first
Your phone needs to be unlocked, or locked to O2. Standard, micro and nano sizes are all on the one 3-in-1 card. If your phone is locked to another network, see our unlock codes before you travel.
Roaming and keeping the number
- Roaming charges and allowances follow O2’s current terms. Check them before you use a lot of data abroad.
- Give the number some use or a top-up at least every six months or so, or O2 may close it.
- Top up any time with our O2 vouchers, even from abroad.
Postage
SIMs go by Royal Mail to UK and international addresses. Second Class Signed starts at £2.95, and other services are shown at checkout. We post the SIM once the payment reaches our account.
Questions
Can I add an O2 bundle after the credit runs low?
Yes. Our O2 bundle activation adds a bundle to the number, or you can top up and choose a bundle with O2.
Will I get a new number?
Yes, the SIM comes with its own UK number. If you want to keep an existing number, ask your current network for a PAC code and pass it to O2.
