How to Unlock All Sony Ericsson Models

Make sure you DO NOT use all attempts (10 in total), otherwise your device will be hard locked. Before you enter the code the number of tries is displayed.

How to Unlock Most SonyEricsson Models

  1. Sony-EricssonSwitch ON your phone without Sim Card
  2. Press left arrow ONCE
  3. Press * button TWICE
  4. Press left arrow ONCE
  5. The message “Personalize with MNC2” or “Personalized with MNC3” will appear. Wait approximately three seconds. The display will indicate “Network” and a picture of a closed lock.
  6. Press Select.
  7. The display will indicate “Unlock (Net) 5” and “NCK:”
  8. Enter the 16 digit NLCK4U code (unlock code we provided you) and press okay.
  9. The handset will display “Network unlocked” and the display “Insert SIM” appears.
  10. The handset is unlocked successfully.

Or

  1. Input a non Authorized Sim Card
  2. Phone will prompt for a code
  3. Enter Unlock Code

NOTE : If your phone has “JOGDIAL” (For example : SonyEricsson K700i) you must press “down arrow” instead of “left arrow” for steps 2  and 3. By “Down Arrow” we mean to direct the Jogdial down.

  1. Switch ON your phone without a SIM Card
  2. Compose #PW+CODE+1# (where CODE is the unlock code you are sent by email)

Note : Press the star (*) button repeatedly to make the P, W or + appear

  1. Input an Unauthorized Sim Card
  2. Turn the phone on
  3. It will then ask for an Unlock Code
  4. Touch the Unlock Code box and the number pad will appear at the bottom of screen
  5. Enter Unlock Code
  6. Press “UNLOCK” button which is below the Unlock Code BOX

  6. Enter Unlock Code. It may be necessary to PRESS ENTER or OK
